The stretch of road opposite Fulwell Juniors has become an extremely busy and hazardous flashpoint for both cars and pedestrians, especially during peak school hours.

While the community is incredibly grateful for our dedicated lollipop man, persistent and unsafe roadside parking regularly blocks visibility, making it dangerously difficult for drivers to see small children and for families to cross safely.

We should not have to wait for a tragic accident to happen before action is taken; the council must urgently install a permanent zebra crossing to slow down traffic, deter dangerous parking, and secure a safe route to school for our pupils.
