CANDIDATE

Hardip is a dedicated local campaigner in the Grangetown Ward - and has already spoken to many residents about their concerns. From cleaning graffiti to filling potholes, he is working with Michael and Alison to deliver for local people. In his day job, Hardip works in pharmaceuticals - in which he is also studying for a Ph.D.

COUNCILLOR
HOUSING, COMMUNITIES AND CULTURE SPOKESMAN

Michael Dixon is a long-standing councillor and has a track record of delivery on matters ranging from cleaning streets and back lanes to resolving planning issues. He is regularly in touch with local people through door knocking and residents groups. He grew up in Hendon and lives in the new Grangetown Ward.

CANDIDATE

Alison is a former employee of Sunderland City Council and has seen how it works from the inside. She lives locally with her family and has a strong commitment to improving the whole Grangetown Ward, alongside Michael and Hardip. An active member of her local residents’ association, she now seeks to represent the community on the Council.
