Ashbrooke Conservatives Back Safety and Security Upgrade at Ashbrooke Sports Club

Ashbrooke Sports Club is set to begin essential improvement works to its compound, removing rubbish and installing a new fence to enhance safety, security, and the overall environment for members and visitors.

The project, part-funded through the Community Chest by St Michael’s Ward Councillors, will help preserve the club’s facilities and ensure it remains a safe, welcoming space for sport and community activity.

Speaking about the initiative, Cllr Adele Graham-King said:

"Ashbrooke Sports Club has been at the heart of our community for generations, and we’re committed to helping it thrive. This upgrade isn’t just about a fence — it’s about protecting the space so that people of all ages can continue to enjoy sport and events in a safe, clean, and secure environment."

Sunderland Conservatives are proud to support improvements that strengthen community assets, ensuring that local clubs have the infrastructure they need to serve residents for years to come.
